What is OxiMedical's Drop-It Insurance + Automatic Replacement?
OxiMedical WILL cover the motor, electric board, control panel and electric valves. OxiMedical will NOT void your warranty if you drop OR damage your portable. When you need service, we will send you a replacement.
Can I use the G4 while charging?
Yes, the Inogen One G4 can be used while it is plugged into an AC electrical outlet or a DC vehicle outlet. The external power will run the unit and charge the battery at the same time.
How long does it take to charge the batteries?
The G4 small battery takes 2 to 3 hours. The large battery takes 4 t o 5 hours.
Can I use the G4 while sleeping?
The Inogen One G4 provides only pulse flow oxygen, which requires sufficient inhalation to trigger the pulse of oxygen. While many oxygen users can use a pulse unit while sleeping, others tend to breathe too shallow or through their mouth and are unable to trigger the pulse. These oxygen users would be best served by using the DISCOV-R portable concentrator that delivers 2 liters continuous flow while sleeping and up to 8 pulse flow setting while walking.
Can I trade in my G4 for a G5 in the future if I need more oxygen?
Yes! We'll give you credit for your G4 when you need to upgrade to an Inogen One G5.

The Inogen G4 Portable Oxygen Concentrator is the smallest portable oxygen concentrator on the market, weighing only 2.8 pounds, and can fit in the palm of your hand. Its unique pulse flow delivery system is ideal for oxygen users who need supplemental oxygen to stay active in their home or out and about.

When using a portable concentrator in the pulse flow mode use a fingertip pulse oximeter to determine what setting would best keep your blood oxygen level above 90%.

The G4 can be used while charging the battery when plugged into an electrical outlet with the home AC adapter or when using the car DC adapter. The battery duration on the setting 2 pulse is about 4 hours with the large battery.

Inogen G4 Portable Oxygen Concentrator is designed with field-replaceable sieve beds. The sieve beds are an important part of the production of oxygen in every oxygen concentrator. Over time, and depending on operating conditions, the sieve beds may need to be replaced. G4 sieve beds can be changed easily in under 5 minutes in your own home. OxiMedical offers the Inogen One G4 and other small portable oxygen concentrators, and we offer fast shipping across the United States.
